Its old-world lantern style, 3-E12 candelabra style sockets, black finish, glass, and sheer size make this an impressive light in the right location, which would probably dwarf my normal-sized entry door.Installation appears straightforward. Like most standard wall-mounted lights, the process should be familiar to anyone with basic electrical wiring knowledge. The open-bottom design is a thoughtful touch that will undoubtedly simplify future bulb changes and cleaning. However, care should be taken during handling and installation to avoid scratching the black finish. It would be wise to leave any foam padding and protective plastic in place until the light is fully mounted. Would have been a 5, but the light assembly that is inside glass came shipped loose on both light fixtures. Unable to tighten unless disassemble the fixture.But they look great and worth the money

The item description says “extra large”, and they really mean it. I did not realize just how huge this would be. So, if you have a small house, like we do, this probably is not the best fit. But, that is my fault. Nevertheless, I was still able to use it on my back patio. This is a high-quality, heavy-duty, outdoor light. It is really an great value for what is received. It has a classic look that fits with modern decor, yet can fit just as well with vintage styles. Installation was simple. We had it up and on within an hour. It gives off a great deal of light, perfectly lighting my back patio and surrounding yard.

Nice, heavy light
This is nice, heavy outdoor lantern light. Iâm not installing it on the wall, Iâm adding a plug and closing in the back to use on my front porch. If I canât find ones made for outdoor use, I will buy these type of lights and make them. These lights are way nicer and heavier so theyâll look great.

Estate piece.
I have to give it five stars based on build quality – it’s as solid as it looks. It does give a specific vibe, and depending on the surroundings – that could be solemn to antique to upscale modern. This would be good for an estate, a church, or a fantasy theme such as the chronicles of Narnia. It takes a particular bulb – E12 – and it doesn’t come with bulbs. It can be set up with a dimmer, independently on your own dime.
