a nice size lamp for a front porch area
The light is super bright and so far it has turned on and off at dusk and dawn. No special bulb is needed so we put the yellow bug to deter many bugs from camping out. I wish it was motion censored, but I figured that if it was, the lamp would be more expensive. Also, since it doesnât have a base, it is easier to clean with a duster in case of cobwebs or bugs collecting.

Nice Looking Carriage Lights
I like the fact these come 2 to a box. I only needed one, but for the price it is nice to have an extra one as a spare. They are painted, and not brass. But are quite well finished, and put together nicely. Very simple to wire up, if you’re not experienced with electrical work. Black to black. White to white, and ground to green. I installed a 60 watt “corn cob” LED, and this light illuminates my entire driveway, along with most of my front yard.

Good Lights
My wife wanted a more modern light for our front door. After trying a smaller light, we landed on this one. Installation was easy and extra parts were included which was appreciated. I only have 2 minor complaints. The top metal piece doesn’t connect very securely. Not sure why there isn’t a strong fastener for it. And the round metal piece that attaches to the electrical box and holds the2 screws to attach the light fixture to is a little under thought. There should be a better way to set the length of those 2 screws so the mounting doesn’t require as much trial and error. I had to take the light down a few time to get the length of those screws just right. There must be a better way. Picture shows our old light on the left and the new light on the right. We are pleased with the final result!
