$4.85
Jalapeno peppers are the hero of salsa and many dishes. They are a staple in salsa gardens. The Scoville unit for jalapeno peppers is 3,500-8,000. Jalapeno seeds for planting do best when started indoors about 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Pepper plants take a long time to germinate, sometimes up to 2 weeks. When you start indoors before your growing season, you can place them outside when any danger of frost is past.

AMAZING TURNOUT
Grew amazing huge peppers. They were abundant all summer long last year. Ordered more for this year!

Germinated in under a week
Great seeds. They spouted in under a week and a half. I planted 6 and all six came up. They are growing fast and strong in an aero garden.

Germination
100% germination rate. So far so good.

Unheard of germination ratesâ¦
As you normally do, I planted several seeds together and in separate containers to achieve hopes of a mediocre germination rate, weeding out the less strong seedlings. However, every single one of these seeds I planted germinated and is of strong stock. I am very impressed with how well these plants have taken off. I have a single plant for my hydroponic system (in the photo) but I transplanted one into soil after it sprouted and is also doing well. I gave the soil plant to my daughter. All the other seeds that germinated I had to cull. The plant in the picture is about 45 days old. It sprouted on June 3, 2022 and the picture was taken July 16, 2022. I obviously havenât produced peppers yet but looking at the growth of the plant and the size of those leaves, Iâm expecting a great healthy harvest. Iâll update after the plant produces. I highly recommend these seeds

All seeds fell out, left with 5 seeds total
Envelope of seed arrived opened, left with 5 seeds I had to dig out from the box. Complete waste of money.

Growth got stunted
Not sure why, but after germination the seedlings failed to mature. Not blaming the quality of the seeds could be environmentally related.
