Can the 78″ model hold 8 chairs?
It can be placed but the length of one side of the table may not be able to fully accommodate three chairs.
Any suggestions for tabletop protection?
In order to better protect the tabletop, please do not place sharp or easily scratched trays on the tabletop. Use table mats to better protect the tabletop.
Is it easy to install?
Yes, just connect the desktop to the base with screws.

Beautiful and quality construction
This table looks better in person. The top is extremely heavy. It arrived cracked and the company replaced it with no hassle. Great customer service. The finish of the table top is very nice and the metal parts are perfect accent without being too much. Looks good for a high end luxury home.

Fabulous Purchase
I was very skeptical ordering a dinning room table n chairs on line. But this purchase turned out to be better than expected. The table is gorgeous, and the chairs are so comfortable and relaxing when dining. It does fit 8 chairs but I only purchased 6 just to see if I needed the extra 2 which I don’t. I paid a handyman to put it together and it took them no time to assemble it. It did take several guys to bring the heavy table into the dinning room when setting it up. I give this table and the chairs a 5+ rating. Everyone who has seen it loves it. I totally LOVE it too. Great Purchase and Highly recommended.

Just Don’t. Scratches easy, colors off… disappointing!
I purchased this table as a “conference table” for inside my private office. It gets used 1-2 times a month at most. It arrived with the “stone” very mottled looking and it has a muddy gray base color. The gold colored legs had a kind of greenish cast to them that is unappealing. I did not like the colors at all but my Father-in-Law died unexpectedly right when the table arrived so I didn’t want to deal with returning it at that point.The very first time the table was used, 3 staff members brought file folders and laptops. Scratches appeared on the surface right away (all laptops had rubber feet on them – I checked). It has only gotten worse and worse. Even the softest of items leaves scratches. There is some kind of resin type coating on the “stone” and it does not hold up to any type of wear. I am so disappointed. I wish I had never purchased this piece!The only good thing I can say is that it is sturdy.
