Sturdy armchair for office or home
This is an armchair covered with gray velvety fabric. It four metal legs each attach with three screws into the frame of the chair. The screw threads in the base have metal inserts, so it’s a metal machine screw into a metal thread. Each leg has an adjustable base, so the chair can be made flat on any floor.From inspection through the screwholes before assembly, it seems that the base and the back are each constructed of wood framing. They are very solid and seem to be built with traditional furniture building techniques. I would say corners were not cut in the construction. The quality is high.The seat and arms are one piece, the back is a separate piece that slides into the back of the seat between the arms with metal sliders. This connection too is very solid, I would say professional quality.The padding in the base and back is 100% polyurethane foam according to the label. It is firm and comfortable.This chair is suitable for use in an office, and it would also go well in a modern living room where the medium gray color fits the room.
