Very sturdy and reliable
We needed a freestanding towel rack that didn’t take up much room and could hold multiple thick bath towels. We were so impressed that such an unobtrusive stand could handle the weight of the wet towels and not topple over. This was a great purchase for a guest bathroom.

Started to rust within a couple of months
This rack has been a disappointment. It started to rust around the top!!! How can it be made of a “durable metal construct…” if it starts to rust in a couple of months? It’s in a bathroom that isn’t even heavily used. So, if you don’t want a rusted towel rack in a couple of months, which will make you back looking for a new towel rack, avoid this one.

I needed a towel rack in the bathroom since there were none when I moved in. This one was easy enough to put together and sturdy. It doesn’t look too bad, either. I like it.

Item arrived in its original packaging inside an Amazon box – no signs of damage. On opening, base was dented and the plastic globe top had a rough surface and chipped ‘chrome’. It was bought in the UK but had to return it to US with all customs paperwork, repackaging, taking to dispatch office kerfuffle and inconvenience that involved. If you take my advice you will buy elsewhere.

I had a hard time finding one of these! We had one like it (only chrome) for over 15 years. It was starting to show its age and we wanted one in black. I was very happy to find this one at the price ($55). It is a little lighter build than our old one and I was a bit worried that it wouldn’t be as stable. Nothing to worry about it it just fine. And it looks awesome! I had no issues putting it together and all the parts were there! Nice product!
