Great buy! It was so nice to have while kids want a parent to be in the pool. You can relax, feels like a hammock. Kids loves using it too. The shade was also so nice. Only bummer is the shade didn’t stay up but it was still a great buy!! Highly recommend.

Works great for this lounging pool life hack
As all the other positive reviewers have said, this float clearly had a lot of intentional thought put into its creation. It’s durable, supportive, comfortable, and inflates quickly, and overall you’re just not going to find much better at this price point.Now let me tell you why I got it. This is the life hack that saves my bacon every summer because it gets stupidly hot and I’m basically a vampire but I can’t always get away to a lake or river or something. If that’s you too, then you need to get a BIG foldable hard-sided doggy pool (mine is 6 feet wide), throw a pool float in there, grab a nice cold drink, and go soak in it for a while. Personally I find that it provides just enough water to cool me down, but not so much that my water bill gets egregious, and shallow enough that I’m actually in the water instead of just floating away on top of it. Plus there’s no commitment to crazy chemicals or cleaning tools or anything of that nature. Easy set-up and tear-down too. Add one of those water misting fans or solar powered fountain things if you really want to be bougie. I like the fan option because it keeps the bugs off, but you do you. Anyway, I needed something to replace my old floats because they were wearing out and this one comes with a canopy – yay, sun protection! It fits in my wading pool perfectly with room to stretch out and relax, and provides the lumbar support that a lot of inflatable floats are lacking. There, that’s my little trick. Enjoy. And wear your sunscreen!

Not covered with material
Vinyl raft, my bad, didn’t check to see if it was covered in material. I would not have ordered it as it won’t last long. The vinyl gets hot in summer and just doesn’t last, especially when you have a dog that loves the pool. The shade doesn’t come up over the top far enough to really shade you well unless you have your back to the sun. The drink holder is too far away, you have to bend to retrieve your drink and it doesn’t hold anything that may be bigger than a water bottle or soda can. I do like the mesh under the seat as it allows you to keep cool while floating in the water. It seems well made, but will see how durable it is. Also, the inflator/deflator is inconvenient. There are two parts to it, one to inflate and to deflate you pull out the whole thing. The problem is, when you are trying to inflate it, it often pulls all the way out and lets all the air out of the raft. Poor design. Much easier when you have a separate deflate. It seems to hold air fine, when you can get it plugged.
