360° Signature Airflow Design
How does it work?
Cool air comes in the bottom vents to feed the fire and enters between the two layers of stainless steel to be heated up. Having cool air come in the bottom vents allows the fire to always plenty of oxygen. Since more oxygen can reach the fuel source, fire wood is burned more efficiently than traditional fire pits. The air that enters the double wall warms up and is pushed out over the fire. This creates a second burn that burns off the small particles of wood that would have been smoke.

Perfect for a deck.
Perfect fire feature for a deck. We did put something underneath (cement board) for our first fire because was not sure if it would get hot under it. But it stayed completey cool. Bought the Ranger 2.0. Love it. Perfect for 2 to 4 people. Gives off great warmth and no campfire smell afterwards or dealing with propane. Also portable so can move around to different parts of yard. Came with carrying case, spark/ember protector grill thingy, lid to use as table when not in use as well as a cover to protect from elements.

Great for small space
Disclaimer: We’ve only used this item once. However, I can already tell we will like it. Husband and I are empty-nesters. At our old place, where our kids grew up, we installed a fire pit with landscape block that we used reasonably frequently. The upside was it was big and easy to use. The downside was it was a pain to clean and changing winds meant smoke in your face.On first use we’re already impressed by this little guy. As you may be able to tell from our photo, the wood we purchased at the grocery store does stick out of the top a bit. We loaded it with shreds from our shredder, a few twigs, and 3 pieces of wood from that bundle. Used fireplace matches to light, and you’ll need something similar if you get one of these as you cannot hold a lighter down inside without burning your hand or arm.The airflow within the unit is excellent and our fire was humming along in no time. I wouldn’t say it’s 100% smokeless, but the design does minimize the amount of smoke generated. When winds would shift and blow in our face, we could feel the heat but didn’t have a face full of smoke. It was just the 2 of us, but if necessary we could fit a total of 4 or 5 around it without trouble. This isn’t a bonfire party unit.Cleanup is really easy and with the included carrying case it’s easy to pack up and put away.If such a thing were available, a short plant stand or something similar would make it even nicer because this guy is pretty short.All in all we are pleased and know we will enjoy it for awhile.

Itâs easy to light and burns hot with zero smoke. Only thing for me is my firewood is cut for my big fire pit so I need to cut wood from my stack to length as I need it. This is the middle size, which is perfect for me but if I only had one fire pit Iâd get the largest one. Just ask Snoop Dogg!

Took this on an off-road trip in California
This is the perfect size to keep four people warm. Easy to start a fire, very little amount of smoke and essentially none when the fire is burning fully. The wood burns down quickly and leaves very little coals. Easy transport and cools down quickly. Definitely an essential item for any off-road trip.

Perfect size of you plan on taking it places.
I was tempted to go with one of the cheap copycat versions, but these are great quality and I didnât want to risk being disappointed. I would love to have a larger version to leave in my backyard all the time, but this is better for taking places. It works great if you are cutting your own firewood, but might be a little small for the stuff you buy at the gas stations and stores. Itâs big enough to have a good sized fire that puts off a lot of heat, and if you use fairly thick pieces of wood, it will burn for quite a while.

As said in the instructions they take 15 minutes or so to reach full efficiency, but once there it chucks out a really good heat for it’s size. It is fairly hungry and needs topped up often, but hardly surprising, there’s just so many calories in a dry log , and this little stove chucks them out in abundance.Although I have only given this stove four stars regarding value for money, I might be a little harsh, but will stick with it. The stove is made of stainless steel which pushes the price up quite obviously. Construction is first class, and I am sure if not abused will give many years’ service.

The headline says most of it. I bought this as a camping fire pit – but have mostly used it in garden settings so far. It’s quite pretty when not lit – in a stainless steel kind of way – but comes into its own when alight. It smokes a little to start with until it gets hot – then, as long as you keep the wood below the inner rim of holes then minimal smoke (but not absolutely none) comes from it. It doesn’t give off quite as much heat as an open fire pit – but minus the smoke means you can get much closer to it without getting tears in your eyes every give minutes – and you don’t really notice. The secondary combustion at the rim holes can be very pretty – at its best when the fire inside actually touches the inside walls to pre-heat the air. It’s fairly heavy – and feels well made to last a lot of years. The stainless does discolour and turn a golden colour near the rim – but I’ve heard this can be cleaned up if required – personally it’s not a problem for me and I’ll leave it as it is. I’ll probably end up getting a bigger one to be more permanent feature on my decking. Very impressed
