We bought this 11′ x 13′ wood gazebo in March, with an interior post-to-post space of about 10′ x 12′. Putting it together was a project. My husband, our neighbor Mike, and I spent most of a Saturday on it. The cedar wood is beautiful but heavyâyou definitely need more than one person. At one point, we realized we had installed a beam upside down, and Mike had to help us take it apart and redo it. He still jokes that he should have his name engraved on the structure.That evening, we wrapped up just in time for dinner. We brought out takeout, lit some string lights, and played mellow music through our sonâs Bluetooth speaker. It felt like our own private patio café.Our golden retriever, Daisy, has made it her second home. Every afternoon, she drags her blanket under the gazebo and naps there, whether weâre outside or not.Last weekend, my parents came over for a little BBQ, and right in the middle of lunch, it started raining. Normally weâd all rush inside, but this time we stayed put. The galvanized steel roof held up beautifully, and the sound of the rain made the whole moment feel extra peaceful.Weâve hung a couple of lanterns from the built-in hooks, and Iâm planning to grow climbing vines along the posts this spring. My daughter is already planning to have her birthday party under it next monthâshe says it feels like a fairy tale spot.

Great Value
This is a nice gazebo kit. For quality I give it 4 out of 5. But the value can’t be beat,5 out of 5. I went with the 12×16. Two beams split during construction. Modern Shade was quick to respond when I reached out. They shipped me new parts the next day. It was a bear to build, especially by myself. There are a lot of parts and a lot of steps. It came in 6 big heavy boxes and everything was well wrapped and packed. I found the instructions were clear. I second other’s advice…don’t tighten bolts until everything is fit together. Especially the roof. I would recommend half-way, then tighten at the end. I’ll report back on durability.

Backyard Beauty!
This cedar wood gazebo is well designed. It is sturdy, durable and with great appearance. It took me two afternoons to finish the set up. Assembly is not hard with the detailed instructions. But it is time consuming. Yes, I did it alone except putting up the four posts, when I needed another person to hold the posts. I used my own power drill and Allen keys. (The package should come with two M6 and two M8 Allen keys. But I got four Allen keys with the same sizes)In general, it is a great buy. It is a beautiful and useful addition to my backyard life. Yes, I would recommend it.

This is a great gazebo.
The design of this gazebo is absolutely beautiful it adds a real touch of elegance to our backyard. It arrived right on time and in perfect condition, with all the parts neatly packed and undamaged. While setup did take some time, the instructions were clear, and everything fit together as expected.Some of the screws and bolts serve multiple purposes, which is nice but required a bit of extra attention. The metal roof was a little challenge but the process went smoother.itâs our favorite spot to relax or host friends. Itâs stylish, durable, and weâve already received so many compliments. I highly recommend this gazebo to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space with something thatâs both functional and stunning. Thanks for making such a great product!

The product was very well packaged, with no damage during transportation. It offers good value for money. It has a rod inside for hanging curtains, showing attention to detail and enhancing the overall user experience. The gazebo seems good so far â hopefully it will stand the test of wind and rain!

All parts were in the kit, plus a couple extra of each. Went together pretty easily with the help of 2 people. The instructions were pretty clear. Great looking cedar wood frame . Would like to know how to order netting and curtains for this unit,since they did not come with kit.

We love it! Two 73 year old, married couple managed to put this together! Just follow directions provided! It came in 6 boxes very well packaged .We put this on our deck at our lake home! Itâs a beautiful addition to our property.
